Care that’s collaborative, honest, and practical
Who do we serve?
We work with individuals, couples, and families located in Washington state.
Our clinicians work with individuals with a wide range of diagnoses and experiences, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, burnout, OCD, trauma, and eating disorders. Many of our clients have been identified as “high performing,” “highly capable,” or “twice-exceptional” (2E). We also regularly work with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community.
However, you don’t have to be part of any of these communities to work with us. To ensure we’re a good match, please reach out to set up a free consultation call with one of our clinicians or fill out our contact form.
You deserve to feel heard and understood.
Each individual we work with is unique and treatment is tailored to you.
You’ll work with your clinician to identify the therapy goals most important to you, as well as the approach that works best with your brain.
Our Providers
We are a team of licensed clinicians committed to providing affirming and high-quality therapy and diagnostic services. Our clinicians have shared experiences with many of the clients we serve. If it’s important to you to work with a clinician who is a member of your cultural or diagnostic community our clinic may be a great fit. You can learn more about each clinician on our team page here.
Why “Respec”?
Respec is short for “re-specialization” – a term used in gaming when reallocating a character’s skills and abilities. We believe this term encapsulates the work we do in therapy.
Many of us develop strategies and patterns of behavior that help us survive in our environment, based on the resources we have access to at the time. For example, using the pressure of a big deadline to push through procrastination, or constantly taking care of the feelings of people around us in order to feel safe. As our environments, resources, and circumstances change, old strategies may no longer be as adaptive. Perhaps because they no longer get the outcome we’re looking for or because the cost of use is too high.
In therapy, you can work with a clinician to identify the aspects of yourself you would like to change. Whether you’re aiming to improve self-care and communication, reduce reactivity and avoidance, or make adjustments to your environment, therapy allows you to reallocate your time, energy, and attention in ways that align with your goals and values.
Insurance
We do not work directly with any insurance companies, and our therapists are considered out-of-network (OON) providers. If your insurance company provides OON benefits, we provide you with a superbill that includes the service/CPT code, a diagnosis code, the date of sessions, and the rate of sessions. You’ll pay for your services at the time of service, and then can submit the superbill to your insurance for them to reimburse you directly.
Medication
We believe medication can be a useful tool to support well-being. Although we do not have medication prescribers on staff, we are happy to consult with your prescribing doctor as needed.
