ASSESSMENT/ DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES

A psychological assessment can provide diagnostic clarity, help you better understand yourself, and identify helpful accommodations and next steps in treatment.

 

If you've felt constantly misunderstood by providers, friends, and loved ones, an assessment may help to provide needed insights to improve communication and understanding. 

  • What are common therapeutic goals and outcomes?
    It is inappropriate to guarantee a particular outcome in therapy. However, research demonstrates one of the best predictors of successful outcomes is quality of fit between client and clinician. In such contexts, clients commonly benefit from pursuing the following goals: Processing thoughts and feelings with professional support Learning and practice new coping skills Identifying and challenge unhelpful thoughts Improving interpersonal communication skills
  • What ages do you work with?
    We work with children (age 8+), adolescents, and adults.
  • Where are services offered?
    Services are offered virtually via secure video call. Services are available to individuals physically located in Washington state.
  • How long are sessions?
    Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes, family/couples therapy sessions are 80 minutes.
  • How much do individual sessions cost?
    Sessions are $200 a session. Clinicians have limited sliding scale availability. Check with a clinician directly to inquire.
  • Do you take insurance?
    We are not in-network with any insurance providers and do not bill any insurance plans directly. However, we can provide you with a superbill which may allow you to be reimbursed by your insurance company. Please contact your insurance company to ask about any mental health benefits, including out-of-network coverage and any possible limits to that coverage.
