PopulationsMy Approach
While I hold a diverse caseload, most people I serve are neurodivergent minors and adults in the tech and games industry.
I value the chance to speak candidly with others. In a context of trust, genuine communication is a powerful and aligning force. I strive to maintain transparency in our work together to create a collaborative environment that enables the free exchange of thoughts and feelings. As we work together to meet your goals, you can expect compassion, flexibility, and transparency. I am personally and professionally familiar with the value of gaming culture and am competent to incorporate it into therapy when appropriate.
I'm a licensed psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I have focused my career on delivering empirically supported treatment and assessment. My prevailing therapeutic orientation is cognitive-behavioral, flexibly integrating diverse interventions (e.g., mindfulness, values, and strengths-based approaches) to accommodate your individual needs.
I ascribe to the importance of common factors (e.g., authenticity, positive regard, and a strong working alliance) in therapy. When working with children and adolescents, I will incorporate a family systems approach tailored to the developmental level of each child. I invite you to reach out to me to learn more and ensure that we're a good fit.
