PopulationsMy Approach
While I hold a diverse caseload, most people I serve are neurodivergent minors and adults and couples in the tech and games industry.
I view therapy as a collaborative experience that is built off of trust. Utilizing modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Solutioned Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I focus on creating a space that is accepting and judgment free where you can rediscover the tools that you already have.
I believe that therapy is an experience that is built from trust and collaboration. Your story matters and feel that the uniqueness of that story is important. Leaning on interests and passions are a large part that differentiates an individual. At times systemic oppression can impact the way our stories have been written. I believe that it is important to be respectful and mindful of contextual factors such as race, gender, sexual orientation, and religion/ spirituality. I try my best to maintain a space that is judgement free and accepting. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). I mainly work through Narrative Therapy while using other theories such as Solutioned Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have experience working with diverse populations and focus on meeting people where they are at. I do my best to be authentic and relatable.
